TEACHERVinitha Vijayam Ramakrishnan

I have been passionate about Bharathanatyam since the age of six, guided by many Gurus, with Smt. Kokila Sriram helping me reach my Arangetram at Music Academy, Mylapore, Chennai in 2006. Specializing in the Tanjore style, I had the honor of performing among 1000 dancers at the Tanjore temple’s 1000-year celebration and alongside Nithya Sree Mahadevan at Kamaraj Arangam. As a member of ABHAI, I benefited from workshops with renowned gurus like Alarmel Valli and Padma Subramanian. My teaching journey began by assisting my Guru and later teaching my own classes in Chennai before moving to the USA. I hold a B.Pharm degree from SRM University and worked for two years at Zifo Technologies in Chennai.
